As we finish the second year of the Journal of Fundamental Rights & Justice, we thank all of those whose support has been essential for turning this publication, in a short period of time, into a privileged space for national and international legal doctrine. For this issue, in the area of foreign doctrine, we rely on works by authors of notorious competence and prestige who represent Higher Education Institutions of different countries, as is the case of Rodolfo Arango ( Bogota, Colombia), Guillermo Escobar ( Alcala, Spain) and Danilo Zolo ( Florence, Italy). We earmarked a larger room on this issue for national doctrine, keeping the high level of previous issues, with works of the penning of Rodrigo Brandão (UERJ), Juarez Freitas (PUCRS), Pery Francisco Assis Shikida (UNIOESTE), Lenio Streck (UNISINOS), Maren Taborda (PUCRS), José Maria Tesheiner (PUCRS) and Mariângela Milhoranza. Furthermore, our Editorial Board is enriched with the joining of Professor J.D. Juarez Freitas, Chair Professor of the PUCRS’ Law Post-Graduation Program, UFRGS’ Associate Professor. We welcome the new Board member, highlighting that we are already publishing an article of his writing on the topic of constitutional hermeneutics. We trust in the good reception and enjoyment also of this new issue within the legal community, like it happened with the prior editions. Greetings,
